Post Office Uniform Button Cufflinks - Brass
These stylish cufflinks are made from antique uniform buttons from the US Post Office. The Post Office Department was founded in 1792 with Benjamin Franklin serving as the first postmaster general. The letter carrier logo served as the department seal until the United States Post Office was made an independent agency in 1972 and the eagle became the logo.
