This pin is made with a genuine antique uniform vest button the Erie Railway line, active from 1831–1968. The Erie Railroad was a railroad that operated in New York State, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, originally connecting New York City with Lake Erie. The uniform buttons in our collection date between 1880 and the 1970s.
