History Mystery: Miniature Portrait

I am sorting the deep lovely corners of my studio and finding some hidden gems I forgot about. Today, I rediscovered this miniature painted portrait of a young woman with a pink rose headband, perhaps made from silk flowers.  Join me in the quest to find out more about this artifact!   The back says Gold-Filled, Germany and has a small diamond mark with the letters DLC or OLC. Home Improvement Project: Mosaic Patio

With some extra time on our hands, Johnny has started painting the house. In the front, we had some box bushes that had grown up to the kitchen windows. They've just always been there and we never really SAW them. With this extra head space it occurred to us we could take them out and make a sitting area while still leaving privacy from street traffic. Phoebe, almost 5, loves to have places to hide and be cozy, so the spiral space was perfect.
